A PRESENTATION OF THE CONTENT OF THE PROJECT:
The aim of the development is to optimize the technological workflow of our company; to improve the quality of the workflow, to speed it up and to minimize the scrap rate.
The Rietstack IRS530 die-cutting machine to be purchased will perform the following operations during the packaging, labelling, etc.
Printing on different materials such as IML (in-mould labelling), paper, cardboard, foil, etc., prints are printed on rolls. These roll prints can be cut lengthwise, die-cut, shaped, cut into pieces and finally counted and sorted into bundles of predetermined size and number of pieces. The counting and bundling of the prints in our factory has been done manually up to now, but we now want to automate this.
Our existing machine for making prints (Gidue Combat 530 C printing machine) also has a magnetic cylinder. However, it does not count and sort the outgoing end product into bundles. Our production is slowed down by the fact that cutting the prints is a slower process than printing, so there is always a backlog of rolls waiting to be cut.
After cutting, the prints and labels are always counted by our staff and manually stacked and boxed. These finishing operations (cutting, die-cutting, counting and bundling) can be speeded up by the Rietstack IRS530 die-cutter, thus increasing the capacity of the factory. The machine acquisition will help to produce higher processing levels, more accurate cuts, i.e. higher quality packaging materials and labels.
By automating certain work processes (making production cheaper) and eliminating their stamping capacity bottlenecks, the competitiveness of the company is increased and its technological readiness is improved.
