A PRESENTATION OF THE CONTENT OF THE PROJECT:
Komplex Média Ltd. has successfully applied for the GINOP-1.2.7-19 call for proposals "Hungarian Multi Programme III - Supporting the complex development of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises with high growth potential", jointly financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the national central budget, and received a total budget of HUF 395 326 278,- and a grant of HUF 177 896 825,-.
The near-term goal of our business is to introduce custom printing options with variable content. The changing market trend and the expected changes in legislation make it possible to produce products with unique identifiers and serial numbers, among other things for traceability. A complex development is needed to achieve this objective. The flexographic printing machines used by the industry are by design not suitable for the production of unique products with variable content. To achieve our objective, it is essential to develop an appropriate range of equipment. Variable-content printing can only be achieved with a digital printing machine, and the aim is to acquire such a machine and the corresponding software.
Defined project objectives:
- Purchase of equipment to allow technological improvements (Durst TAU 330 RSC 5c inkjet machine, Grafotronic CF350 dispenser)
- Purchase of intangible assets for digital workflow management (Durst Workflow Plus)
- Implementation of a web to print solution for the purchase of intangible assets (Durst Smartshop w2p)
- Integration of production and sales IT systems for both existing and new systems
Digital production line: management's experience is that the market is moving towards digital production and that track and trace technology will be mandatory in the European Union in a few years. Track and trace provides brand owners with unique benefits to protect their products from counterfeiting, gain useful product design information by monitoring the product life cycle, and receive this as part of the printing service as a personalised, customised solution, thus increasing customer satisfaction and trust.
By assigning a unique identifier to a product, it is possible to track the product's lifecycle. These solutions will become mandatory in the near future due to the legislative changes on the horizon.
Post-processing equipment: this equipment performs the cutting, digital processing. It reduces mechanical work and scrap costs, while increasing the capacity for digital production itself.
Information technology development:
- Establish digital workflow management: it is essential to have a digital workflow management software for the operation of the equipment to be purchased. This is responsible for setting up the production programme, including digital preparation and geometric layout.
- Web to Print solution: the "Web to Print" service focuses on streamlining and speeding up the processing of incoming print orders/jobs. The aim is to eliminate redundant operations and make the preparation and production process more efficient. With this solution, printers are able to provide a new value-added service to their customers. It will allow online orders to be handled efficiently and professionally.
In addition to the development of tools and software, our company also provides consultancy services related to the implementation of production planning and organisation and service (IT) systems (including the use of digital production technologies, the integration of production equipment into production management IT systems, intelligent increase and optimisation of production efficiency).
With the implementation of the planned complex development, Komplex Média Kft. will have the most modern printing press and the software to support it. The implementation of the project is expected to result in a high level of growth, which could also play a key role in economic dynamism.
