A PRESENTATION OF THE CONTENT OF THE PROJECT:

The present development is based on machine -and technological development. In particular the in-mould technology problems arising during the application of in-mould moulding. The IML (in-mouldlabeling: injection moulded labels applied by advanced industrial robot technology). technology allows the rapid replacement of labels in small batches. production. IML technology is used, for example, in food packaging food packaging and plastic storage boxes. The essence of IML, the label printed on the appropriate film is applied to the packaging can, cup or the surface of a plastic container, jar or other plastic object by injection moulding packaging device, where a label holder is used to apply the statically is applied by a robot to the inner wall of the injection moulding tool, which is the carrier is then moulded from a liquid plastic mass and cooled. This makes the label an integral part of the packaging, durable and non-destructive. IML technology is also an innovation from an environmental point of reprocessing, the label and the substrate surface are recycled to ensure the identity of the material. the label and the liner can be handled and recycled in one piece.

Within the framework of this call for proposals the problems arising from a technology that is not yet fully developed and mature and test the colour fastness of the prints, discolouration due to heat and scratch resistance, heat resistance, ink adhesion, leaching to food, etc, discoloration, as well as adhesion and static cling of the base product.

So far, paint manufacturers have only produce and market paints with general properties. These in-mould labels are not yet fully usable for the production of additives can make them suitable for this application. The in-mould labels, ink adhesion is still a major problem. Our current development proposal is also seeking funding to develop and test the following ink production gaps solutions.

Of paramount importance are experimentation with additive paints, as detailed below meet the requirements set out below. The aim of our R&D project is to formulation of such a paint formulation.

- With food resistance to leaching and discolouration.

- Heat resistant permanent pigmentation, stain resistance.

- Achieve a standard level of paint adhesion.

- Colour fastness, UV-resistance to standard colour compliance.

- Passing the migration tests.

- Enhance the rub and scratch resistance of printed surfaces.

- Maintaining and improving static chargeability.

- Increasing the adhesion properties of products.

The paint manufacturers, the test laboratories, printers and end-users, and the continuous product development is needed to address the current problems current problems.

The primary implementation site of the project is 7400 Kaposvár, Nagygát utca 6, which is the premises of Komplex Média Kft.
